Introducing the Color Cubbie

I am so excited to introduce you to a project that we've been working on, the Color Cubbie. This is the long awaited solution to your Copic marker storage question.

I had the concept and my hubby engineered and produced it. We have owned a custom cabinetry business for the past 27 years so we have the technology and equipment to produce these in volume. So we have launched a new business and are pleased to share it with you Studio 3 Solutions . We will be adding additional products as we grow.

Let me tell you a little about the Color Cubbie. It will hold a total of 120 Copic Sketch markers, with 24 on each shelf. The best part about this little cubbie is that each shelf is angled so you can read the names on your sketch markers clearly. The angled shelf also allows you to pull a marker out without others coming along. Of course it will also house the other styles of Copic markers, as well as most other coloring mediums, like Prismacolor colored pencils and markers.

This is a picture of all my pretty Copic markers all lined up waiting to be used. There are 3 Color Cubbies in this picture.
I would love to hear some feedback from you all. If you like what you see, please tell a friend!
Thanks so much for visiting!

What a FANTASTIC idea! I currently use an office supply cube to house my Copics, but I am quickly out growing it. The reason I like it is because the colors are seperated. Just like what you've created! OMG Tami, I am going to tell everyone! I need to know more! I'm off to click on the link! I'm excited!!!

I currently use a pampered chef lazy susan for my copics, but I don't think I can fit any more into it! I've looked in your store, and can't find shipping costs to Canada. Do you have any idea what it would cost to ship the color cubbie?

Kathy Janicki www.sassystamper.blogspot.com said...

will this fit Stampin' Up! markers also?
And, how much is shipping? I live in So Cal...91740.

Thx, Kathy

I love it and I think you and your husband are amazing. I hope you guys are successful in selling tons of these. Maybe one day when I come upon a jackpot I can invest in some copics and your cubbies.

I have been looking for something like this. I ordered the blocks that are made for Copic markers for my daughter for Christmas. I was not impressed with them and they were $35 each. I have ordered one of the cubbies and can't wait to get it. I am anxiously awaiting anything else your hubby comes up with. Thanks

At present, I don't have markers to use the 'cubbie' - but I think it would accomodate holding a bunch of my small packages of embellishments. When you have shipping costs indicated on your blog, I will place an order.

In reference to my earlier comment, I need to know mailing costs to Canada.
Also, what is the measurement of the cubbie? thanks
joanne

This is perfect for what I need. Love the angled shelves. What I currently use has straight shelves and the markers keep falling out, grrrrrrr.

The 14" is a bit too high for my current space. Is there any way you could do a special custom order? I'm looking at buying 4 or 5 of these cubbies but they just need to be a wee bit shorter.

Joanne,
We are having a bit of an issue on our website (www.studio3solutions.com) with International shipping. I am sorry for the inconvenience! I have sent several orders to Canada and have found that USPS International Priority mail is the least expensive way to ship. Unfortunately the Cubbies will not fit into a International Flat rate box. Shipping is a bit high to Canada!
Shipping for Cubbies to Canada:
1 Cubbie $22.33
2 Cubbies $27.31
3 Cubbies $30.64
If you should have any other questions, please feel free to ask:

Holly I sent you an email.

The only thing better would be locking covers for transport.

Got mine today and filled it up! I found I can easily fit about 28 markers per section. And it matches the rest of my storage pieces. Just perfect! Great price, super fast shipping. Thank you so much!

I just found this product this morning from Jennifer McQuires blog.
I LOVE this idea! I was just looking for stoage solutions this morning, daydreaming, always planning for a better space and then I found this cubbie!
I dont have too many copics yet but still need somewhere to contain
them, love how slim it is, love the angle on the shelves. Love the finish on them. I am going to order one or two right now. THANK YOU for providing a paypal option!
Cant wait to see what else you come up with :)

This idea is absolutely genius! Unfortunately, I have Tombow markers, which are quite a bit longer than Copics. What are the dimensions on the Cubbie?

Hey Miss Tami! I sent you an email with a quick question on these! :) Thanks!

Oh my goodness! I love it! I have been searching high and low, near and far for the perfect marker storage cubbie and I just loovvve this. Have one question though: I use Prismacolor Markers and need storage for 156 of them, will they be able to fit?

I just saw your Cubbies on Sharon Hanist's blog and immediately ordered some. I can hardly wait to receive them. They will go perfectly with all my jetmax storage in my craft room! Thanks so much.

These cubbies are fa-bu-lous! I ordered 3 of them thinking that they would hold all of my markers, pens and pencils but it looks like I need another. I love the verticalness (is that a word? LOL) of them and the fact that I can see everything at a glance. No more digging through my storage boxes everytime I need a pen or pencil. Great product. One suggestion for your next creation would be some type of drawer space so that I could keep ink pads and acrylic blocks in. I'm currently just using one of the shelves to store so that I have all of my stamping items right at my fingertips.

Again, wonderful product and be looking for another order from me.
